I am looking for past relatives in DeKalb, Alabama. John Henry Powell married Theodosha Pruett. They call her also Dosha maybe, not sure. Dosha bought some land so that relatives could be buried there. It was in Bokchita or Bokchito, which ever! They had my father, J.D. Powell and he married Loveda Eggleston in Kingfisher, Oklahoma. They had 13 kids all together. Loveda's parents were, Charles Franklin Eggleston & Lettie Mary Jane (Watts) Eggleston. Lettie had a twin, Nettie. I was Joan Powell and I have a twin, Jane. I need to know about my cherokee heritage if any on Dosha or John, if any.
