I am looking for information on the Lewis(Louis) Brooks family (originally Rouseau). Louis b. abt 1828 in Canada. Married Julia Angelique Lefebvre b. abt 1827 in Canada. Their children were born in Vermont. Louisa, about 1845, Margaret Elizabeth abt 1847, Charles Nov 1848, Mary Alvira abt 1851, Lewis L. abt 1855, Julia (Juliaette) abt 1856, Ellen Melinda 23 May 1857, Amanda Felenice 16 Feb 1860. In 1850 they were in Colchester, Vermont. In 1860 they were in Waterbury, Vermont. In 1870 Julia had remarried to Nicholas Ashley and lived in Essex, Chittenden, Vermont with two of her children. Charles was in Westford. In 1880 Julia lived in LeRoy, Michigan as did her daughter Amanda. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
