My mother is seeking her family which arrived in Adelaide. We are trying to locate the place of birth for John Martin who arrive in Adelaide on the Cressy?, his date of birth 29-08-1818. Whate we are trying to find out is where he was born and his parents. His wife's name is Hannah Potter born 11-10-1827 We understand he lived at the Caledonia(?) assylum (possibly a school in London) and that he died in Adelaide on 06 October 1966 of "fever" Thank you to those who have responded I have found John's parents and where he went to school in London however am happy to correspond if anyone has further information, about John his parents and his six siblings.
