I am compiling a family tree for James ALLEN born 1851 (son of James ALLEN ans Maria WELCH)and m1 Sarah Ann HEAVER (or Haver, born 1852) (children were Oliver Ernest, Arthur Owen, Howard Preston, Edgar George, Alice Laura, {all born near Mt Gambier} Edith Maud, Allen James, Gilbert Mather, Albert Heaver and John (all born at Kaniva) and m2 Minnie Louise CLEE (born at Merino, Vic, 1871, dau of George Thomas CLEE and Mary Ann KERRISON)- (children were Ethel, Laura May, Percy Roland, Edward Clarence, Ellen Rose, Mary Anne Jessie, Donald James Dudley, and Florence Mabel) The children of the second family were born on the journey overland from Nhill to Pelican near Chinchilla in Qld. Places they worked at on the way include Quirindi, Werris Creek, Spring Ridge and Willow Tree.Any information about their extended families, especially the siblings of James, Sarah Ann and Minnie Louise and their parents and grandparents, their stay in any town or the work they did would be appreciated. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
