Looking for information for William Francis Glasby.William F. Glasby is my Gt.grandfather.I believe he was Irish but not sure. Born in New York Mar.1825. He then migrated to East Saginaw Michigan in 1850. Married first wife Jane Weller in 1850 and had 3 sons. William Clifford,James Harry,and John F.Glasby.Jane died in 1874 and a couple years later he married a second time to Hannah Elizabeth Wood(My gt.grandmother)They had 4 living children and also a 5 child that died.Their children were daughter Frances,Mary or Marie Edna,Clyde A.and Clare Ellwood Glasby. Clare was my grandfather.When my grandfather was about 9 or 10 they moved to Calif.to the Los Angles Ca.area.My grandfather Clare married Mildred Essell Fuller on Oct.31 1911. They had an adopted Daughter Marjorie and then two sons of their own. Charles Richard and Norman Emerson Glasby.If there is anyone that would know anything of these Glasby,s please contact me.
