I am searching for my gr-grandfather, JAMES RICHARDS. It is stated in the census records of Connecticut that he was born about 1825 in NY. His mother was Lucinda Willcox (dau of Jesse Willcox) Do not know who his father was but he must have died soon after as Lucinda (Willcox) Richards then married Asaph Hart in 1828 and lived at Avon, CT. James Richards married twice. Sept 27,1848 to Ruth Elizabeth Richards and secondly in 1858 to Elizabeth J. Aldrich (my great-grandmother. I have the Aldrich line and also the line for Ruth Elizabeth Richards. What I need is the birth and death for James Richards and who his father was. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
