Query Text:

Katharina Katta (or Kotta) is the name on my great grandmother's First Communion Certificate. The year was 1862. The church was St. Michaels in Monroe, Mi. Cate Goda was the name on her marriage certificate. That was Feb. 19, 1881. She married Charles F. Eiseman in Whiteford, Mi. I can't locate names for her parents. In the 1870 census for Monroe, Mi. she is listed as Kate Goda, 19 yrs. "Domestic Servant" in the home of Conrad Krechauff. Does anyone know anything about my great-grandmother? I believe her only child was my grandmother, Eva Eisenmann Velandra. Thanks, Barb(Velandra) Kruger
