I am searching for any living relatives of Sauerbrey /Behrens /Bach family who lived at 307 Chaussee ,Gropelinger, Bremen ,Germany during 1912. My great-grandfather was Johannes Hermann Sauerbrey, possibly born or lived in Gṛpelingen, Bremen in the late 1800's. His wife's name was Cherstine (nee) Behrens. The copy of record that i have is my grandmother's birth certificate from August 26 1912 in Bremen. It shows my grandparents names and my grandmother's birth date but no other info on it except Bremen as address. Johannes had 2 daughters and one was named Elli or Elizabeth Suerbrey , possibly from Oldenburg. I have a photo from the 1970's with a middle aged lady and 3 young people- Horst, Luke and Traude are the names on the photo. I would really like to find these 3 people from the photo. Perhaps they are relatives of my Great grandparents. A second daughter of my grandparents emigrated to Fulham, England possibly in the 1950's. She married a Mr Kelly and they bore no children. Johannes's other daughter was my grandmother Charlotte Maria Sauerbrey . She (married name Bach ) She died February 1991 in Wuppertal, Germany.Her only daughter Christel Elli Bach born 12 February 1935 in Elberfeld emigrated to Cumbria England 1955 Died 14 November 1979 in England.All relatives above were Evangelistic religion. Charlotte Maria Sauerbrey married Johann Jakob Bach(my Step-grandfather)He was possibly born in Saarwellingen.Married 9/10/1937 in Wuppertal.
