Looking for info @ Mary Friday family ie Marietta Panquin Friday. My mother(June Carolee Seal Ward-name given after adopted then married a Ward) was adopted and she was her birth mother. I am her grandaughter. Mariettas' mother was Tencie Panquin. They lived in Madison County, Louisiana. I understand we have choctaw blood in us and want to know more about that. I am not concerned with invading anyones lives or trying to be a nuisance. I am trying to learn the history so I can see if I do infact have indian blood in me and want to take advantage of the benefits of being indian. I need to know more about the Trail of Tears.
