I am trying to locate my birth parents and one sibling. My name is John Robert Walters, I was adopted by Don Walters in September 1976 through the Los Angeles County Dept. of Adoptions (it was the first single male parent adoption in the county). My birth name was John Robert Hawthorne born 3-13-1963 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles, California. My birth mother's name at the time I was born was Patricia Mason, she was 21 years old when I was born. My birth father's name is Robert Howard Hawthorne, he was 33 years old when I was born. I have 3 siblings, all sisters, Elizabeth Ann Hawthorne born 4-12-1964 in either Brooklyn or Buffalo, New York, Mary Alice Hawthorne born 2-15-1966 near Red Bank, NJ, and Paula J Dancer born January,1969 I think in Los Angles, Ca. Elizabeth, Mary and I were given up for adoption in Febuary,1973. Patricia Mason, AKA Patricia Dancer,AKA Patricia Crebassa, remarried sometime between 1972-1973 and kept custody of Paula. Mary was adopted by George & Mae DeMos through the Los Angeles County Dept of Adoptions between 1973-1975. Elizabeth was never adopted, she lived in a home for girls in LaVerne, Ca. untill she turned 18. Elizabeth, Mary and I are in touch with each other. However I would like to locate and re-unite with my natuaral parents and my long lost sister, Paula. I sure hope you can help. God Bless You People!!!!
