I'm looking for informationon the family of Essie Delilah Jenkins Pelham and her husband Joseph Maxwell Pelham, both of whom died in Montgomery, AL (Chisolm area on Traction Ave), where both lived for at least the last 15 years of their lives, and I'm sure it was longer than that. Essie's Birthday was June 11, 1921 and date of death was around August 5 or 10, either in 1985 or 1986. SS# 423-09-5513. She worked for Brockway Glass in Montg. for years and most of her family (parents, brothers, sisters) lived in the Robinson Springs are of Millbrook. She had a sister whose name I don't recall (she died when I was very young), who was married to Clarence (?) Perdue, who went by "Buzz" and had two kids - Craig and Terry Perdue. Her brother, Burl F. Jenkins had at least two kids that I know of - Delayne (sp?) and Darrell Jenkins Essie's husband, Joseph, who went by "Mac", was MAYBE born on April 10 in possibly 1913. He drove a cab and worked at a gas station in Chisolm for the last few years of his life, which ended in 1975, I believe. They had two children - Barbara and Joe Frank Pelham. Barbara married John Toole, who had at least one child by a previous marriage, and they had one themselves named Joe Toole. I don't know if Joe is his first or middle name, or whether it's short for Joseph. Joe Frank Pelham, son of Mac and Essie Pelham, married Judy Ann Jones Mulcahy and adopted her two young sons (me being the oldest), now named John David Pelham and Michael Todd Pelham, and on Sept 9, 1971, gave birth to my brother Phillip Kirk Pelham, who married Wendee Hughes of Montgomery and had their first and only son, Phillip Kirk Pelham II on February 19, 1997.
