My grandfather was Milan Belon (also known as Milton). My father remembers my grandfather having a cousin named Karol Pann (spelling maybe a bit off). Karol Pann lived in the USA as far as I know and owned a bar/restaurant in Manhattan. As the story goes Karol was visiting in Czechoslovakia and had some sort of health problems while he was there and his health insurance would not cover the costs so he ended up losing his bar in America. My father seems to think Karol was my grandfather's first-cousin, or if not then a fairly close cousin. We unfortunately lost contact with Karol after my grandfather died, but my father thinks he may live/have lived on Long Island. My father also remembers him as having had a daughter named Emily Pann.
