Seeking information on Rev. J. O. Willett for our church history. He pastored at FBC in Sabinal, TX from 1910 to March, 1912. The following names are found in childrens' Sunday School records for the 1910 to 1912 period - Orville, Max, Kathryn and Oliver. Perhaps these were children of Rev. J. O. Willett, but we have no proof. I have found record of James Ocie Willet, b. 1-7-1881 in Ellis Cty, Tx, son of James M. Willett; he d 4-19-1979 in Maybank, Henderson County - occupation listed "preacher". He m Rosa Lee Fields on 9-1-1900 in Waxahachie, TX - had 7 children - J. W., J. B., Kirby D., Irene, Willie mae, Lometa and Euna. These names do not match those found in our church records but could this possibly be the man we are looking for. Our church is over 105 years old, and we are trying to document information on as many former pastors as we can. Would be delighted to find a descendant of our J. O.
