I am searching for information regarding a connection with my Philpot family bloodline, and an American Indian. John Henry Philpot, who was born 28 Nov 1855, in Putnam, FL, married Laura Lancaster on 12 Dec 1875, in Levy, Florida. She was reported to be 1/2 American Indian. She does appear to have that heritage by family photos still kept. I need information in regards to her parents, so I can make a solid connection to her reported Indian liniage.
