LOOKING FOR AFRICAN AMERICAN VEASEYS. I am looking information on the mother of Charles Walter Veasey born August 24, 1940 in Imperial County, California. (Brawley)- Married to Vernon Veasey Sr born July 14, 1914 in Oklahoma. They had three to four children together and lived in the California area in the mid 30's to mid 40's. Since Vernon Veasey Sr. remarried I can only assume the couple divorced before my grandfather relocated from Imperial County to Kern County. (Bakersfield area.) 1---Jo Ann Veasey born in Imperial County, California (I assume Brawley since this is where my father was born.) on February 21, 1944. 2---Tommy Eugene Veasey born in Imperial County, California (I assume Brawley since this is where my father was born.) on July 15, 1942. 3---Vernon John Veasey born in Imperial County, California (I assume Brawley since this is where my father was born.) on October 11, 1938. ---I also found record of a Verna Mae Veasey who’s mother shares the same maiden name of as my father, Jo Ann Veasey, Tommy Eugene Veasey, and Vernon John Veasey. She was born in Arizona on May 06, 1937 and passed away in Los Angeles County on May 15, 1952 at the age of 15. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
