I am searching for more information on my Irish ancestors. The 1880 Kalamazoo Village, Kalamazoo County, Michigan, United States Census list Mary J. Webb (married, 31 years old, born in New York) living with her mother Mary Butler and brother Patrick Butler. Mary J. (Butler) Webb's father was James Butler and she had two other brothers John Butler & Thomas Butler who married Anna Maguire, and a sister Nancy Butler who married Martin Garrow. The family has connections to Maidstone, Essex County, Ontario as well as Kalamazoo, Michigan. I do not know the first name of the man whose last name Webb she took or why she is living with her mother and not her husband.
