Query Text: |
I am looking for any information about the Edron Andersen family{ my mother's grandparents } who lived in Liverpool and later immigrated to Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I am assuming that the Andersen with the 'e' must mean that my great grandfather { or his parents ] came from Denmark. My great grandfather Andersen married Gertrude Alice Wheeler, however I don't know the date. I know she was born in 1870 in Liverpool. They apparently owned a livery and were considered fairly well off. They had four children, Edron who was killed in 1918 at age 26. He is buried in Naves, France; George, Stan, and Alice May, my grandmother. In 1911 they sold the livery and immigrated to Calgary. For some reason that has been lost my great grandfather Edron legally changed the spelling of Andersen to Anderson. I would really like to find out about the Andersens, who they were, who were my great, great grandparents etc. If anyone knows anything about the Andersen/Wheeler family I'd sure love to hear from you. Thanks, Debbie | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
