I am searching for my biological father. His name is Jim Andrew. He was raised in the Bells Corners area and his parents currently reside at 39 Virgil Ave. He attended Bell High School where it is rumoured that either he or his younger sister (when she attended) were either the head boy or head girl at the time of their attendance...which is throught the 1970's decade. Jim also has an older brother. He is currently married with 2 daughters & he has 5 other neices and newphews. Jim's father was an English professor at Ottawa University & his mother was a nurse at the Royal Ottawa Hospital. His younger sister went on to also become a nurse. Jim is supposed to be a tall, fair skinned man, with blonde hair & blue eyes. His sister is supposed to have red hair. My biological mother's maiden name is Shirley Schmidt & she was 3 years younger than Jim at that time. My birthday is Jan 26/1975. Jim & his parents have frequented over the years the restaurants that my biological mother both managed & co-owned. Jim's parents had purchased XMas presents for Shirley's newest daughter Cassandra approx 8 years ago. Jim & I personnally met twice...the 1st time when I was 2 years old at Bayshore Shopping Centre, Jim was working at the Pic Nik there & my grandparents and I were having lunch. Another time when I was 7 or 8 years old (1982-3) at Martino's Restaurant. (Martino would be my step-father however, since Shirley's parents adopted me, he is now my brother in law). I understand Jim was told to stay away & I understand why he did. I was also told to NEVER seek him out & I hope he understands why I am doing so. Jim & his family were told Shirley was going to have an abortion in Montreal at that time...Bell High School had made all the arrangements. Shirley went to Montreal however one of 2 thigns took place. Shirley and Jim reunited as a couple after her visit to Montreal. Either the abortion never took place (which would explain why Shirley's due date was all wrong) and the rest is history or when they reunited, they conceived again & that rest is history. My family will not confirm either way & Shirley will provide me with no assistance. If you are out there, Jim, I just want to put a face to them name...everyone else has a right to meet their parents...I would just like to enjoy that same right. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
