Desperately seeking a grandfather or his family I have never met. I know his name is John Garvey or McGarvey and he was in and around the auckland and waikato area in the 1950's. For unknown reasons my grandmother was very secretive about the man who fathered at least three of her children. Even refusing to heed the pleas of my mother while my grandmother lay on her deathbed. I have no wish to cause harm, I only would like to learn something of this man who by his very absence left a huge imprint on my mother and her children. My grandmothers maiden name was Simon or Haimona. My mother and some siblings were named Garvey on thier birth certificates. My name is White (nee Tohovaka). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
