I am searching for my dad's birthparents. He was born in 1951 and was taken from his parents and put in Christian's children home in Ottumwa, IA. We believe he was 2 or almost 2. He was adopted by a wonderful family, Peter and Esther Bos, in Orange City IA. A year or so later the home called my grandparents and offered them his brother that was just born. The adoptions occured some time between 1952 and 1955. When my uncle was a teenager he went to the home to try to find his parents but they didnt keep records (or so he was told). All he found out was that his parents were married and were of northern European decent. I want to find them because I know my uncle really wanted to know why they were taken away and I want to know my history and medical background as Hodgkins runs in the family (Uncle died from it and my brother is in remission).
