I'm looking for information on ancestors and descendants of Chana Reyzel (Harriet) Amdurski. She is my great-grandmother (my fathers' maternal grandmother). She was born about 1865 in Janowe, Poland (north of Bialystok). Her father was Chaim Amdurski, who was also from Janowe. Harriet married Pinkes Sushelsky, also from Janowe. They came to the U.S. around 1900 and settled in Salem, MA where Pinkes and his son Maurice ran a wholesale grocery store. Other children in the Sushelsky family were Sarah Molly (my grandmother), Ida, Louis, Minnie, and Ruth. Sarah Molly Sushelsky married Isadore Alpers (my grandfather) and had 7 children. Harriet Amdurski had a brother (name unknown) who lived in New York City and had two children, Benjamin (b. 1892) and Samuel Amdurski (b. 1896). Benjamin lived in New York City and had a grandson named Chaim Amdurski. Samuel had two children, one a daughter named Lila who herself had at least two children (names unknown). Any help making family connections would be appreciated.
