Looking for information on DAVENPORT NEWSOM, who married SARAH STEVENS in Rowan Co. NC in 1802. Between 1810 and 1820 he and his family moved to Smith County TN where he appears in census with 7 male and 2 female children. Then, he and his family diappear from TN. He was born in the 1775 to 1778 range. Family names associated with him were Henry, Harrison and William, possibly Lewis and Sterling.
