PLUNKETT - Originally from Highgate area in St. Mary's Parish - Jamaica. Great-grandfather Richard Plunkett who married Rhoda Champagne in the late 1800's. My Grandfather Alburn Plunkett, son of Richard & Rhoda (born 1908 in Jamaica), married Eva May Omoroy (also of St. Mary's Parish, but whose parents were orig from Bangeldesh). Alburn Plunkett died April 1974, (in Belize, Central America where he migrated to in the 1940's with his wife and children). My Grandmother Eva May Plunkett died in May 2005 at age 89, also in Belize. Alburn Plunkett's children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren live in Belize, New York, Texas, and Chicago. Alburn Plunkett's brother's and sisters who remained in Jamaica are believed to reside in Jamaica, England, and Canada. His youngest brother Ralton Plunkett lives in Pennsylvania. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
