Looking for information on Stokes Edwards who married Elizabeth Couch in Surry County, NC about 1865. This was probably his second wife. They had two children, Jerome "Rome" and Plutine "Tinney" L. Edwards. Tinney married Henry Houston Crouse in Alleghany County, NC. Elizabeth is show with the children in the 1880 census in Alleghany County, NC and is listed as a widow, so Stokes died sometime between 1870-1880.
