Looking for information on the family of Elizabeth Smith second generation Irish American. Birthdate unknown believed to be around 1900-04. Mother Ellnor Gill. Father Thomas Smith. Thomas Smith is believed to have owned a car garage in New York with his brother (unknown). We think there were nine in the family. Known sisters Winnie, Dorethy, Mary. Known Brothers Thomas (nickname Chubby became a hairdresser) and James. She was married to John O'Dwyer, Irish, from Pennywell, Limerick, Ireland. She is believed to have died around 1928/29. Elizabeth had 3 children all born in New Jersey America. Helen, died at the age of 3/4. Patrica still alive living in Limerick, Ireland, born 4th Feb 1931. Was married to Stephen Aherne. Joan still alive living in Dublin, Ireland. Was married to Eddie Whelan. The Smith family are believed to be originally from Askeaton Co.
