Query Text:

I am helping a close personal friend in her endevour to find her birth family. It is as if the birth parents just disappeared. I have utilized police friends, legally, and even they say something is very strange about this. This child, Elizabeth Irla Teasley, was removed from her mother by Kansas Child Services (whatever that agency is) when she was 8 years old (approx. 1989). According to the birth certificate given her by the state of Kansas, the father is Delbert Henry Teasley. Delbert's DOB is listed as 4-11-42. She was told he has passed, but no date of death is certain and no SSDI is found. The monther is listed as Sandra Sue Snavely, DOB 8-27-53. Elizabeth is a very strong determined young woman. She has survived a horrible foster care and state child services youthhood, which I will not detail here. According to records provided her by the state of Kansas, she was born in April, 1981 (exact date withheld) at Asbury Hospital in Salina, KS. I have searched and searched and continue to hit dead ends in regard to finding either parent, but more particularly, the father. While the female may have remarried and changed her name etc., the father would not have and according to my police friends, there is not even a credit history trail for this gentleman. No death notices have been found. The only information I have found was a genealogy.com search, in which the information was marked private by what appears to be a possible sister to Delbert. It is one of very few references to this man I have been able to find. The females name is Jean Teasely. Most of the whole family info has been marked private, but I did find her married name to be Jean Kemper. This young woman does not wish to be intrusive, she just wants to feel complete again and have some peace of mind as to who, what, why, when and how things happened the way they did and to know if they are ok, dead, etc. If anyone out there has the connections and anything else it takes to allow me to help her, please contact me a.s.a.p. It will be more than just appreciated. I am not a person of means, so hoping there are at least a couple of you out there with as big of hearts as I have. Thank You Sincerely, Mike
