I am searching for my grandfather. His name is Joseph Leach. He had a son, Jerold Keith Markin, with Esther Eddy Markin. She refused to put Joseph's name on the birth certificate, hence the name Markin. Prior to Jerold entering school, Esther married Camille Fontenot. She enrolled Jerold into school under the name of Jerrold K. Fontenot. It wasn't until he entered the Navy, did he learn the truth about his father. Jerrold died in 1998, never knowing his father. I am not sure whether or not Jerrold was legally adopted by Camille, or whether or not Joseph knew about Jerrold. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
