Hi there. I am looking for my partners father, who we have been told was a Canadian soldier who was based in Aldershot, Hants, England between 1940-1946 You met a girl in a dance hall in Aldershot called Joan. Unbeknown to you she gave birth to your son in 1945 and called him John Alexander, he was given up for adoption. We have only today (18.02.2006) discovered your existence. I hope that we are not too late, hope that after all these years you may remember that night - we sincerely hope that you survived the war. Please, please get in touch with your son, he would love to get to know you, before it's too late. You would be aged about 82-86 yrs now. Here's hoping........ Regards Mickee x | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
