I am trying to find any information I can about my "natural/biological" parents. I have no intention of intruding or disrupting their life, I'd just like to know a little more about who I really am. All I know at this time is, that according to my adoptive parents, I was born in Milford, Nebraska on February 9, 1948 and was adopted about six weeks after birth. I believe a Lutheran Church agency may have been involved in the adoption process, but I am not certain of that fact. My adoptive parents were born and raised in Omaha and would have been in their late 30's at the time of my adoption. My adoptive father worked for the railroad in Omaha and my adoptive mother was a homemaker. They kept no record of the adoption process nor did they talk about it much. I have found an "official" Nebraska birth cirtificate that lists my adoptive parents as my natural/biological parents, which is not the case. Either there was no official birth record filed and a false certificate was issued, or for some reason the whole adoption process was kept secret. Finally, a bit about me...I am a white male in my late 50's, heavy-set, blond hair (balding), approx 6' 1" tall, with blue eyes.
