I am researching my great-great grandfather, Dr. Denis Darby Cronin married to Elizabeth Geoghan, and after her death to A. E. Oldfield. He was a medical doctor in England who wrote several papers and books on ear-nose-throat problems and lung problems. He published in 1840 and several universities have original copies of his books. To my knowledge, his medical office was on Hanley Street. His son, my great grandfather, Richard Brinsley Cronin came to Canada in 1871 and to Detroit in 1887. I have quite a bit on Richard but need to confirm facts I have gathered on Dr. Denis Cronin and his parents and grandparents...originally from Killarney, Caounty Kerry, Ireland but moved to England and to Isle of Jersey.
