John Cusack was reputed to have been a valet de corps in Roi Charles X's party after the August Revolution 1830. Religion Roman Catholic. Rather then go to Middle Europe with his master when the King left Holyrood House Edinburgh, as his employment may have been reduced John returned to near where his family had held land in Ireland and people of the same name got him a job as Hedge School Teacher in Ballycallaghan by Durrow Kings County. He later married Miss Bridget Wafter [a hugenot lady?] in Durrow Church of Ireland and later moved to Newry Co Down. Any information about Johns birth place in France or any othe info very much appreciated. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
