My grandfather, Julius(George Henry) Jacoby was born in Canada, abt 1848 to Charles Jacoby, a carpenter, according to the English census of 1901. Julius must have migrated to England by ship prior to his wedding in London March 1875. No records have been found of his birth or of his migration to England.
