Reed:Bend:Creagh:Kavanagh:Thomasson. I am traceing ancestors and descendants on my mother's (Honor Kavanagh)side of the family. All the ancestors lived, worked and many died in Central Queensland. Some were even born in Central Queensland. Eliza Bend, born 1840 on Norfolk Island married James Reed, born 1836 in Manchester, England, on 5/12/1856 in Wellington, N.S.W. One of their children was born 4/2/1874 at Gum Valley Hotel, Springsure area, Frances Reed was my great grandmother.
