This is the first time posting on any groups so have patience
please. I was adopted @ 3 days old (1957) and grew up in Clare, Mi.
I've been trying to find my family roots or what is left of them and
where they came from. I've tried searching all the sites I can find
and have had very little luck. My father's name was Floy (Floyd)
Eichhorn (Eichorn). My mother's name was Dorothy Pauline Eichhorn.
She was a Covert when she died. I have 2 older brothers, Randy F
Eichhorn, and Lonnie Leroy Eichhorn. Dad was born in 1932 and died
Feb. 1977. I do have a copy of his obit coming by snail mail. They
lived in Farwell, Mi and my dad worked at Holly Carberator in Clare.
I believe my dad remarried after I was born but I have no idea to
whom. I remember being told that his mother was in the nursing home
in Farwell, I don't know her name. There is a space reserved at the
Surrey Twp Cemetery for Ida Mae Eichorn. I don't know if that might
have been her or not. If anyone has any info on this family line I
would be so so gratefull. I met my birthmother before she died but
she didn't give me any info.
