I am looking for a female child that was given up for adoption in Steuben or Allegheny county NY. Her birth mother's name was Barbara J. Ide. I am Barbara's youngest Daughter Dakota and I have been searching for years but have not been able to dig up any information. I would just like to know that she is ok if nothing else.
Update. Some more information: Her father's last name might have been Housen or something similar to this.My mother was born in MA.
My sister was born at either St. James Mercy Hospitol or Bathesda Hospitol which is no more. My mother's social worker dropped her case soon after seeing my sister and it is thought that she was the one to adopt her.
