I am searching for my birth mother or father, their ages would be 54 years old. This was a closed adoption through Volunteers of America out of Shreveport, Louisiana in Caddo Parish. I was born on October 27, 1969 at Schumperts Hospital in Shreveport. My birth mother and father were both seventeen years old at the time of my adoption. I have non-identifying information, such as hair/eye color and some medical/social information. I am 36 with blonde hair, fair complexion and hazel eyes. My birth mother was a diabetic controlled with medicine as well as her father and his mother. She had brown hair and brown eyes and was 5'4" tall. She liked reading and had red measels as a child. My birth father had blonde hair and blue eyes, he was 5'11" tall, he also liked football and cars. I have moved and in the process have lost the letter of non-identifying information sent to me by VOA. I would love to locate them due to the fact that I have two children and I would like to trace my heritage. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, because this is something I have been doing for a while and feel it is impossible to achieve.
