   Seeking copies of poems written by Fanny Green (Borland) Moores, --- Found in Little Rock and Memphis newspapers, magazines, etc.Biography: Fanny (Fannie) Green (Borland) Moores was second child born,September 1848 in "City of Roses", Little Rock, to Dr Solon and Mary Borland, while her father served as a United States Senator, orphaned in Princeton, Dallas county, Arkansas on New Years Day 1864 by death of her father near Houston, Texas, married James C Moores in 1869 at Little Rock home of Colonel & Mrs O C Gray, moving to Memphis, Tennessee, birthed one son, died as did her husband a year earlier violently of yellow fever the morning of 23 August 1879 at "Bluff City", Memphis, burial location unknown.      First published in Little Rock when 12 years old, ie: between September 1860 & 1861, found usually on front or second page in newspapers.            Copies we have are:"The Past And Future", Arkansas State Gazette, written after just turning 14, 29 Oct, following death of mother the 23rd, published 22 Nov 1862."Judge Not By The Outward look", Arkansas State Gazette, written 14 Nov, published 29 Nov 1862,"The Dead Confederacy" written in Princeton at 17 y/o, signed copy at University of Arkansas' Special Collections, submitted by Father Abram Ryan and printed London's Cosmopolitan 21 December 1871, The Daily Gazette 21 January 1872 with story."To My Son's Scrap-Book", The Daily Gazette, 23 Mar 1873."David O Dodd", In 'The Poets and Poetry of Arkansas' by Fred W Allsopp, 1933"At My Father's Feet".
