Anna's maiden name was Riebe (sometimes spelled Riibe. Anna first married Robert PROMES SR. on Feb. 20, 1884 at Yankton, Dakota Territory, but obtained their marriage license in Cedar County, Hartington, NE. According to records, they had a son, Robert PROMES, JR, who lived at 714 West Washington St., Fremont, NE in 1939 and 1940. Anna’s second marriage was to Charles DALY. Charles was born March 12, 1898 and died July 22, 1915, buried at Ridge Cemetery, Fremont, NE.
Anna and Charles had three children: Margaret Daly MCCELLAND, b. July 31, 1891, d. March 14, 1981; John DALY, born ? Died?; and Mildred Daly PABST, b. Jan. 19, 1902, d. Jan. 1, 1965.
