Her mother was Esther Maher born in 1906. Esther's mother was Bridget Syron who was born in Sligo around 1860. She married James Maher (I previously believed it to be Michael) around 1880. Prior to her marriage she lived in county Mayo. Afterwards she lived in Kilkea, County Kildare. She had three children: Anne, Esther, and Bridget.
