My name is LeeAnn Stoddard. I was born in St. Maries Idaho on May 11, 1966. I was adopted and lived there for the first 6 years of my life. My adopted parents were Edward and Carol Sykes. My dad was a high school Algebra teacher at St. Maries High School and mom was a nurse at Benewah County Hospital .
I am searching for my biological mother. I was wondering if you knew a Debra
or Debbie that went to your school around the time that you did? I think she would have graduated in 1966 but not sure. I am an adoptee looking for my biological mother and have found out her name was Debbie . I was told she moved to St. Maries and lived with relatives until she gave birth. She was the oldest of 4 siblings. She was born November of 1948. She
was 17 at time of my birth. Maybe you might remember a girl going or seeing her around town for a short time. The 1960's were not as open on teenage pregnancies as society is
today. I don't know where she originally lived. She was 17 years old at the time. I do know that her first name was Debbie, Deb, Debra and she was born in 11/1948. Do you remember such a girl living or going to school that year? St. Maries is such a small town.
I also know that a Dr. Thurston was her Doctor and Sam Irvine was the judge in the adoption.
