I am seeking information on the Coursey/Mott families that lived in Clarke Co. Alabama and migrated to Texas about 1833-1835.

I think all of the children, except Parthinia b. Georgia, were born
in Clarke Co., Alabama-maybe around Thomasville.
Before immigrating to Texas, however, Joseph had been a County Tax Collector of Clark County, Alabama (1817-1819): County Road Commissioner, Clark County, Alabama (1819-1821): Overseer of Roads, Clark County, Alabama (1821): and a Counter Coroner in Alabama.
This information was shared with me by another researcher, I would like to find documentation to verify this data.

AN ACT, to divorce Parthenia Coursey from her husband James Coursey.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
of the State of Alabama in General Assembly convened, That in
conformity with the decree of the circuit court of Clark County
exercising chancery Jurisdiction pronounced and entered at the
October Term one thousand eight-hundred and twenty-seven the bonds of
matrimony heretofore solemnized and subsisting between Parthenia
Coursey and her husband James Coursey, be, and the same are hereby
annulled and made void; and that the said Parthenia Coursey be
henceforth divorced from the said James Coursey.
I descend from Parthinia Mott m. James Coursey. They had one child -
Valentine (Valtinas A.) Austin Coursey b. 1818 in Clarke Co., Alabama.
1835 Joseph Motte & family, Parthene Motte & Valentine Coursey were shown on the Bevil District Census.
I can not find census records on Parthenia Mott Coursey or the other Motts that moved to Llano Co. for 1870, so I do not know where they were in 1870, prior to that they were shown on the Tyler Co., Texas census.
At this point, I have very little on the Coursey/Mott lineage and would appreciate any information/documentation on Parthinia, her parents, siblings, etc. that anyone will share with me.
Information regarding James Coursey is extremely difficult to find. I have nothing on his parents, siblings, etc. and do not know what happened to him after Parthenia divorced him. I do not know where most of them are buried and would like to find the names of the cemeteries. I would also like to know if anyone knows where I might be able to obtain documentation on the reason for Parthenia and James Coursey's divorce. It is not shown in the Acts granting and reviewing the divorce.
I have spent years researching the theory that Parthenia was the child of Honour Cherry and Joaquin Fernandez de Rumayor. I can find absolutely no documentation to support this theory other than undocumented information from Cherry researchers. No offense is meant to anyone.
