I would like to correspond to anyone who may have knowledge of a James Wright, b: abt.1815 who died in 1855 from the result of injuries received while working on a Dam project at Lake Rabun, in Blue Ridge, Ga. Rumor has it that he was buried in the Athens, Ga. area. His widow, Mary A. Wright, nee Duff, was my Gr-Gr-Gr-Grandmother. It is also rumoured that afterward, Mary traveled alone by wagon to the Berrien Co., Ga. area where she married Elisha Griffin in 1857.
