I am an American born female in my mid 20's and I have recently taken on the task of trying to track down my ancestors. My father is from Colon, Panama, his name is Ricardo Chambers and I would like to track down his lineage as far as I can.His father's name was Charlie, and he died in the late 90's. I think that his grandmother Aida(my greatgrandmother)was Jamaican, but I don't know much about her or how and when she came to settle in Panama. I know her daughter, (my grandmother Agustina Dutton)was born and raised in Panama in the early 1920's. She had about 11 children including my father. Their main place of residence was Colon in Panama, but they are spread out all over now, with many of them living here in the U.S. If any of this can help someone help me, I would really appreciate it.
