would like to know when & where David J Johnson died and is buried, Hwas was born in 1812 Halifax, North Carolina. We do not know who his family was. He married Mary Ann Macon, feb 6,1842, Macon Alabama...Mary was born 1825 Upson County Georgia , to Pleasant Macon & Nancy Gray. They had their children in Coosa County Alabama, children were George F Johnson, Willis Johnson, Nathaniel B Johnson, Anderson Johnson, Ellen Gray jOhnson, Lou Ambler Johnson, Jmaes Wesley Johnson, Charles B Johnson, Nancy Johnson...Mary & children obviously came to TEXAS, as I found them in the 1880 U.S census of Mc Collouch County, Tx, Mary is a widow, 54 years old, living with some of her children, we dont find MARY again; so she too is a mystery...dont even think David made it to Texas at all, but cannot find him anywhere, would appreciate any answers someone may have about this family, Daughter Nancy married a man Charles Wilson(Charley), Nathaniel B , MARRIED A GIRL, aMERICA, Ellen Gray married William Weir in 1880 in Mc Collouch Co Tx, Lou Ambler married Thomas Jefferson Powell, their family dissapeared around early 1900 , supposedly fled to Bolivia, James Wesley married Annie Dee Houghton and they lived in San Angelo Tx, Your personal information will only be used to contact the submitter and will not be saved or used for any other purpose.
