I am looking for information on my great grandfather. His name was probably James Larkin Tate, although my grandfather remembers him being called Lark. His first wife was Martha Smith, and they lived in Pulaski County, Illinos. They had three children,sons:James and William, and a daughter whose name might have been May or Mary, I believe that she died quite young. When Martha died, he married a widow Lustina or Tiney Parker. They had two children, John Wesley and a daughter, also named May. Lark died when the children were very young and Martha's family came and took James and William to Vienna, Illinois. Then Tiney died and the children were separated. My grandfather remembered very little about his parents and I am having problems, partly because of the question of their real names.
