I'm searching for Benjamin Franklin Applegett/Applegate, he was born abt 1858 in Indiana. He married Mattie Miles in 1886 in Montgomery Co., Illinois. On the 1900 census Mattie is living by herself, but says she has 6 children. Her youngest, Frederick Otis Applegate, was born 1896 in Desota, MO. I am pretty sue Benjamin F. has died between 1896 & 1900. Can't find him anywhere. Or they have separated. I found Mattie and all her children living together in 1910 in Illinois. Is there anyone who can shed some light on this family? I will share my infor with any one interested.
