I was adopted on May 10, 1975 through a private foundation called the Barker Foundation in Washington DC. I was born in the Bethesda Naval Hospital to my birth mother who was about 20 or 21 years of age at that time. My brith father was in the navy, and was not present during my birth. From what I gather, my birth parents were going through a divorce or break up during my birth. My adopted father was an orthopedic surgeon, in case that helps at all. I am searching for somebody in my birth family, preferrably my birth mother or father. I am now 31 years of age, and desperately want to know my birth family. I believe the woman at the Barker Foundation was an english woman named Julie (?), and I have actually spoke with her regarding my adoption. Please feel free to email me with any questions or responses. I do not have a lot of money, so if there are any scam artists out there, I don't have a dollar for you.
