Looking for ancestors of my great grandfather, Thomas Humphrey. Sometimes it was spelled "Humphreys." According to the old Humphrey Bible, he was born March 25, 1859 some where in USA, possibly Missouri; and died in Dec. 20, 1898 in a coal mine disaster in Newcastle, CO. His father was David Humphreys, who died Sept 9, 1888, and his wife was Elizabeth Humphrey, died Aug. 1, 1893. Thomas' wife's married name was Mary Wiley Easton. Their children were: Mable, Frank Lenard, Robert Lee, Belle Selkirk, Marion Francis, Grace Elizabeth, Willard Lee, and Wilma Fern.
