Douglas was born May 27, 1936 in Caldwell, Idaho. He was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. (Nina) GARNER of Portland, Oregon. Douglas may have been from a large family.
Douglas Clark GARNER was his adopted name. His adoptive mother divorced, remarried, and her new husband adopted Douglas changing last name to UGSTAD.
