I am trying to learn more of my mother's family on her dad's side. I don't have a lot of information. My grandfather was Samuel L. Abernathy born 28 Nov 1904 Atkins, Ar died 3 Feb 1954 buried Modesto, CA. He married my grandmother Velma Etta Stillwell 30 Nov 1935. Together they had 5 children.
Mary Ann-my mother born 29 Oct 1936 died 30 Sept.1999
Sammie Lea- currently living in TX
Harold Dean and Rena Jean *twins* Harold died 2005

Harold had 2 sons, Gary and Samuel currently living in TX
Nobody seems to know who my grandfather's parents were. This seems weird to me considering it would have been only 2 generations ago for the living children.
